CareWorks Tutoring is a tutor based in Wichita, Kansas and has been operating since 1995. In their own words: “Hello! My name is Chantille McCarthy and I am the owner and lead math teacher of CareWorks Tutoring. My husband, Adam, is one of our math and science tutors. My husband and I both attended college in Wichita Kansas, where we reside, to become secondary math and science teachers. In 2018, we went through a traumatic experience losing our baby girl during our third trimester. A few months following the event, I developed chronic vestibular disorders that left me unable to live a normal life. I had to make the hard decision to resign from teaching so I could focus on my health. I had to find a way to make some income that could be done from home with flexible hours and this is how CareWorks Tutoring was birthed. Tutoring allows me to still teach my love for math and build student relationships, the part of teaching that I miss the most. Since then my health has significantly improved and our business as grown so much!” What they do: Middle School, High School, College Level, Elementary, Science, Reading/English/Language Arts, Reading/English/ Language Arts and Intermediate.
