Absolutely unacceptable service from Safety-Kleen. Their drivers “misplacing” checks, causing invoices to go into collections, endless headaches. On top of that, they tack on additional fees whenever they feel like it, with no clear explanation or consistency. Trying to get a hold of customer service is a joke – they are completely unresponsive. We received product back that was not washed or had a dirty feel to them as if they were not washed at all. Save yourself the frustration and find a different waste management provider.

A rep from Clean Harbors called my company and after getting my email address and name from our receptionist, set up "access for our online portal where you can schedule waste management services on your own" using this information without my consent. I was only made aware of it when I received the email prompting me to set a password. Absolutely unprofessional and I would never trust this company now. I hope this was a rogue employee and this isn't a sales tactic of theirs, because I've never been so put off by a company from such a brief impression.

As a customer of environmental services at various times in my career, and at another time a vendor to one of their departments, I can say they have some really good people with whom I have had good experiences. They were responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. But there seems to be some very high turnover, and not all of my experiences were positive. Some employees may not have been well trained. It certainly makes one wonder if there are some significant issues at the company.

I cannot speak to the extent of their services, but I can speak on the way their drivers present themselves and the company on the road…. Absolutely horrific and terrifying to be driving in front of this gigantic 12 wheel truck that’s constantly tailgating me in TRAFFIC. You’re not driving your Honda civic, you can back up a bit😒
