In their own words: “Winston and Rebecca Davis originally grew up in Roanoke but met in Winchester, VA after college. Once starting a family they decided to come back to the Roanoke Valley in May of 2023. They have a 9-month-old little boy named Wyatt and they live in Salem, VA. Rebecca has a background as an artist along with art education while Winston has a background in the moving storage industry. Winston started as a mover for one of the largest franchised moving companies in the country while living in Winchester and moved up the ranks to Moving Sales Consultant, Sales Manager and ultimately leaving that company after 4 years to start his own business. In 2020, he founded MoveUp a recruiting agency that services the moving storage industry all over the US. MoveUp is the #1 recruiting firm for the industry and Winston regularly speaks at major industry events across the country. After moving back to the Roanoke Valley, Winston Rebecca could immediately tell there was not a hometown favorite for moving that led with a local brand. Between Rebecca s desire to create a local brand with meaning and Winston s deep knowledge in the moving industry they knew it would only be a matter of time before opening Big Lick Moving!” Their work covers Our gallery and Areas we serve.
