This Home Depot is located in a shopping area next to a Whole Foods and feets away from a Starbucks. The parking lot and surrounding area is clean and well-maintained. My primary reason for my visit was an online return. Customer service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I did walk around and picked up some light bulbs. HD has the cheapest prices. I picked up a few more things. The tools aisle has more display items than Savannah. I was tempted. LOL! This store is a contractor's heaven. I can't speak on any other day but I received good customer service on my two visits.

I want to thank the 2 associates who helped me find what I needed. The young girls at customer service almost sent me to another store stating the items were not in stock despite the website stating there were 27 in stock at this location. My gut told me not to believe them because they barely searched for it. I found two gentlemen who searched the store sku and low and behold, the items were in stock. They just needed a cart to get them down. This wise decision to challenge what I originally was told saved me time and gas. Kudos to the guy associates. Recommend additional training on how to search for items for the young ladies working the customer service area. They should know how to do more than accept returns.

Peter at Home Depot Midtown is the reason I keep coming back. I am a real estate developer building new construction homes in the area. Midtown is my closest store, and as I have started taking over more of my own project management, I have been building out a serious tool collection. Peter has helped me with drills, saws, blowers, paint sprayers, and everything in between. He knows his tools at a level you do not see often. He listens before he recommends, he asks the right questions about the job, and he never tries to upsell me on something I do not need. That kind of expertise saves real money on a job site. It also saves time, which on active builds is just as valuable. I also have to recognize Darren, the assistant branch manager. Every time I walk in, he greets me and asks if I need help. He gave me his number for product inquiries and has come through every single time. Peter is a hidden gem and Darren leads from the front. This branch is doing something right, and these two go beyond expectations!
