Design Storey

What does Design Storey do?

Based in Oxford, Oxfordshire, Design Storey is a local design and engineering firm. In their own words: “We design beautiful homes by repurposing old buildings, or creating new ones, to enhance our client's everyday lives. The studio works on a range of projects throughout Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds from creative transformations of listed buildings to contemporary one-off houses. Based in historic Oxford, our designs are inspired by experiences working in both London and Vancouver, as well as the picturesque landscape of the Cotswolds. Our approach to design is contextual and holistic, where the disciplines of architecture, interiors & landscape design are brought together under one roof, to create a complete design story. We enjoy teasing out the constraints of the site, whether an old manor or modern home, learning about its history and character and using this to inform the design. Our belief is that the best architecture is about more than just a building; it's about the relationship to the grounds, the streetscape and the landscape beyond. This approach extends into the building's interior, creating spaces that enhance and transform our client's day-to-day lives.” Services include APPROACH, EXPERTISE, Homes, Lifestyle, Interiors, Masterplanning, Heritage and Project Management.
