Their corporate customer service is a joke. Had a complaint and sent a nice long email detailing everything and the reply I get back is to provide information for something that I had ALREADY sent in the original email. They didn't even read it. In store help was no better. Time to shop elsewhere. I will pay more to not have to deal with their crappy stores and policies.

Sharing an awful experience at dollarama in Acton. Went to buy fingerless gloves which are printed on the gloves for $2.75. It came up as $3.00. The manager came to correct one price but wouldn't correct the other price and stated they don't have the authority to correct both. When asked he name, she told me it's none of my business. I told her they have to sell the product for the price advertised to which she responded no they don't. She removed her hem from my sale and went to the aisle they were in. I followed as I wanted a picture of the item. She was removing them from display and threatened to call the cops when I went to take piicturen of the item. the manager, an old heavy set lady, is who is representing this company and her behaviour is disappointing. Shame on you dollarama. The price shows is the price you sell for.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! Complaint, Complaint, Complaint! Impossible to contact and speak to anyone. HQ Customer Service doesn't answer the phone. Can't leave messages. Sent email to HQ Customer Service to file a complaint. They email me to send info. I sent. After, they ask me again to send the same info. I sent. After, they ask again. Boy oh boy are these people incompetent! Absolutely nothing between the ears. Just empty space. The CEO Neil Rossy is the king of incompetence as he doesn't respond to complaints by email. Yes, I found his email. The only thing this joint can do is McGA (Make china Great Again) by pushing their inferior, defective garbage that their own people don't want. Yes, they're Canadian, and our politicians want Canadians to buy from Canadian companies, but they sell garbage from China!!!

Bought a bag of Wonderful brand pistachios in Toronto , ate most of the bag and discovered what looks like a maggot, mould and maggot eggs inside a pistachio. But what was worse is how client services handles this complaint. They initially didn't offer anything not even a refund, then tried to get me to accept a $10 gift card. Shameful.

Dollarama is a joke. I purchased two gift cards at a value of $25 each at the Lincoln Street Welland location earlier in October. Upon giving the cards to my nephews, I discovered that not one, but both of them were not loaded. I had to go and collect these cards all the way in Hamilton, which was an hour away to bring them back to Dollarama for them to give me replacements to which again the same issue occurred. I explained to Dollarama, but this was a huge inconvenience as not only has it costing me time, but it has also costed me more money out of my pocket as it took them exactly a month to pay me back and instead of being generous and Providing me with a $25 gift card on top of the $50 they owe me they simply sent me $50 via check a month later which put me out for nearly a month. Very disappointed and the email communication back-and-forth between Head office was unacceptable and very heartless to the situation.. Big corporate company has no care in the world for putting their clients out and wasting their time
