What does K9 Focus Dog Training do?

K9 Focus Dog Training is a pet service serving Orillia, Ontario and nearby. In their own words: “We’re Andrew and Leah, the husband-and-wife team behind K9 Focus Dog Training! Dogs have always been a part of our lives, and over the years, we developed a strong foundation in obedience training. Our journey took an unexpected turn when we adopted our Bloodhound, George. George was the definition of a challenge—his behavioural struggles pushed us beyond the comfort and ease of the obedience world we knew and into the complex and emotional world of behaviour modification. Determined to help him, we immersed ourselves in multiple programs, including learning from and working alongside other reputable trainers and behaviourists with the goal of learning everything we could to support and help dogs with more complex needs. Our journey with George came to a heartbreaking ending after a veterinary exam and multiple tests discovered an inoperable mass on his brain. Though our time with him was short, George changed everything for us. He deepened our understanding of the struggles families face with behavioural cases and fueled our passion for helping others navigate similar challenges.” Services include K9 Focus Dog Training Home, Clients, Who we are, Helping dogs and their families, Follow us on our socials, Board and Train, Private Sessions and Puppy Consultations.
