With all the great little Mexican eateries in the southern states of the USA and his first trip to Baja he became enamoured with the tastes, sounds and colours of Mexican culture. When he returned home he searched for great Mexican food but unfortunately couldn't find much at all that even came close. So it was then the dream to open his own little Cantina. In 2017 he called his lifelong best friend, Jim and his wife Yvette with the idea. Jim laughed and said "you're an idiot. " Within 6 months the 4 of them as a team opened our first Mexicoast Cantina in Terrigal beach.
