Deeply Disappointed by the Quality of These Road Repairs As someone who regularly travels between the Yarra Boulevard exit and the Burnley Tunnel, I am extremely disappointed by the standard of the recent road repair works. After enduring traffic disruptions, lane closures, delays, and months of inconvenience, road users had every reason to expect a high-quality result. Instead, the finished surface appears inconsistent, the ride quality remains poor in sections, and the overall outcome falls well below what the public would reasonably expect from a major infrastructure project. What makes this even more frustrating is that these works were undertaken by a major, well-funded contractor with significant resources, expertise, and experience. When large companies are entrusted with public infrastructure projects funded by taxpayers, the community expects workmanship that reflects those resources. Unfortunately, the result on this section of road does not inspire confidence. The issue is not simply about road surface quality; it is about accountability and value for money. Millions of dollars can be invested into projects like these, yet ordinary motorists are left questioning whether the final product genuinely reflects the level of expenditure and disruption involved. Melbourne deserves infrastructure that is built to a high standard and designed to last. Road users should not be left feeling that they have endured extensive inconvenience only to receive a result that appears substandard from day one. I urge the responsible authorities and contractors involved to revisit the completed works, conduct an independent quality assessment, and explain how this outcome meets the standards expected of a major publicly funded project. The public deserves transparency, quality, and value for money—not excuses.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Foreign-owned toll giant TransUrban collected $11 billion in revenue from privatised public roads over five years while paying zero tax through complex "stapled security trust" structures that shift profits offshore. Government contracts lock in annual toll increases of 4% or inflation (whichever is higher), guaranteeing rising costs. Victoria even uses state police to enforce private toll fines, turning public law enforcement into corporate debt collectors.

Rang to ask a simple question. Got someone offshore who couldn't speak English. Told me to wait a moment until they could get someone then just hung up. I then called back, got another person answering also based offshore. When I asked to speak to someone in Melbourne I was refused transfer stating there was no one working in Melbourne at 1.00pm on Friday. I insisted, got some more push back but as soon as I stated it was to enquire about traffic, I was immediately transferred to the Melbourne office. There someone who could answer my query assisted, pleasantly and in English. Thank you Mark. Swift polite response much appreciated. I think Transurban has a duty of care to provide the service they currently falsely advertise and should recompense all users that are delayed by there inefficiencies.

If you get a wrong charge, it is just impossible to talk to someone to get it fixed. They make money on extra fees (aka admin fee) $42 dollars for what was a $4 dollars bill. The CEO should be ashamed to run a business like this… Blockbusters went bankrupt because of these “admin” fees. I hope they go bankrupt too

I was charged 3 times trying to buy a Tulla Pass because the website said that there was a payment error, but the charge went through anyways, if I don't recieve a refund, I'll take legal action. Not happy, DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY.
