Bought a Brand New Refrigerator from the Home Depot, Fayetteville, GA location on 7/13/2026. It was delivered on 7/16/2026. It has never performed efficiently, even after waiting a week to see if it would pick-up some steam. We thought it just needed time to reach its peak performance. Today, 7/24/26 I went back to the Store to request that they replace the refrigerator because after waiting a week, nothing had changed. I was told that they would not do so because we had the unit for over 1 week, and they only satisfied issues that fell within 48 hours. What? It's a WEEK since delivery! Firstly, (though this is buried in their fine print), I still believe 48 hours, or 2 days, is an insult to customers who put their faith, confidence and trust in Home Depot to sell Brands, and garner partnerships with companies who help protect their customers and help drive the high values and standards we all expect from them. I could have bought this Refrigerator from any other vendor, but chose them because of the perceived security I felt. Secondly, thought the 48 hours is written in their fine print, I should still have been made aware of this verbally. Most customers do not read these fine prints because they trust the Brand they are supporting. Home Depot knows this. Fine prints are glossed over by these companies just to make the sale, while protecting them not us. As a courtesy this should have been verbally communicated to me. Home Depot essentially washes their hands of any responsibility to do with defective appliances they sell, leaving their customers to deal with the grueling headaches, inconvenience, and lack of urgency on the part of their partners.....a total disregard for issues their customers experience due to their hands-off approach outside 48 hours. Now my Retired 80yo Mother has to endure spoilt meat and products in an economy where no one can afford this, and as we wait for a Tech to show up, more spoilage occurs. Carlie and Eden, the Store Liaisons, tried their best to resolve the issue, but unfortunately their hands were tied by poorly written company policies. They even tried calling the Frigedaire Vendor who immediately demanded my CC incase the 1 week old Fridge had a defect they did not cover! Are they kidding?! I did not receive a call back from Angela their store manager as I requested. I expected Home Depot to replace the Refrigerator ASAP. They should deal with the headaches from their vendors, not the customer. Again, its a 1 week-old Fridge. They need to stop selling Appliances with 48hr care windows. Take care of your customers better with customer-centric policies. My advise to my fellow consumers?.....Do NOT buy appliances at Home Depot. I won't be making that mistake again.

I ordered a air conditioner that came in busted and I called customer service they told me they would send UPS to pick it up on Monday June 15th and they never show, so I took it up my self to the Cleveland, Tn. store. The return desk clerk said she would give me a refund and I said no just order another one which she did. My son went on June 23rd to pick it up from the store and it was busted as well. So I said I want a refund and go some where else. They tried to give me a store credit I paid $1340.68 with my debit card they said I paid with a gift card and all they could do was give me a store credit. I ask for a manager her name Julia refused to give me my money back. So I ask for a manager over her and was told there is not one. So I ask for a corporate number and was told there is no corporate office for home Depot. I spoke to 5 different people at customer service and no one could help. My daughter sent me a phone number for the corporate office and I called all day no one has ever returned my call. I have been without air almost 3 weeks I have 3 small dogs and two of them have cancer. I had borrowed the money to purchase a new air conditioner because the one from last year broke. I am 66 yrs old and not in the best of health. All I want is my money back so I can go some where else and buy a new air conditioner. they are holding my money and said they could mail me a check in 90 days. I will never shop at this place ever again, worst manager Julia, worst lead clerk, worst customer service. All of these people need to take a customer service training class. I have never been treated this way in my whole life. No one has reached out at all to help and it is going to be in the 90's this weekend. I guess me and my 3 little dogs will continue to sit in my car with the air on. What a joke this company is and its people.

Complete lying, under trained and inept staff! Had window's installed in 2021, the sub contractors knocked out tiles, removed the water proofing and then glued the tiles back in. They never told us this, nor was it annotated in the paperwork. Flash forward to this march and the tiles start falling off the window seal. I contact my local home depot who tells me the Seattle cooperate office will contact me.... 3 visits later I finally get a cooperate response, but its all smoke and mirrors. This repeats over and over, then they get a inspector to come out. First time he didn't show, and they claimed my phone was disconnected. it was not, he didn't show.. The next week he shows up, acknowledges the contractors messed up. Told me they would get back in a few days. That didn't happen it was almost a month before we called back to find out the original staff was either fired or quite. No pass down or nothing, no follow up... The second lady we worked with was equally as uncaring as the first. Then Sedwick claims gets involved, tells me to pick the contractor of my choice so we can begin repairs. Alright we are happy now! then she send me a emails saying home depot finds me at fault. I ask for proof, and to see the documentation. Nothing, no response keep getting ghosted. I call the Seattle cooperate office and send 12 emails requesting that and all audio files when we talked on the phone. Nothing once again getting ghosted. I then go to home depots main face book page and post the photos and the story. Enter another round of inept and uncaring staff with a promise to reach out to be my the 23trd which did not happen. They do another smoke and mirror show pretending to care but really don't. Then they send me a letter saying it was my fault for not caulking the window. Please! I caulk all my windows every year. It was your sub contractors that glued tile onto exposed wood! Reported to the BBB, and just forwarded the emails, photos and a video to Seattle based news agency. If you go with home depot do your research, look at their FB page and see all the issues on every post. You want TEMU quality go with home Depot. You want great quality, go with a local contractor or Lowes!

A washer and dryer were delivered but not installed. My daughter, with her 9-month old, does not have the tools or knowledge to complete the installation herself, thus the installation service. This was indicated in the online order. I have wasted a half day hearing the excuses based on company policy, store procedures, even an explanation on the differences between Home Depot, Home Depot.com and the Home Depot store. THIS is business in America. Be proud! Oh so proud of our business leaders. Keep the shareholders happy and screw the customer. These corporations contribute to the moral deterioration of our country, all for profit and greed.

After an initial issue with an online order for two king-size Sweet Night mattresses, I want to update my review. The order had been canceled without explanation, which was frustrating, especially after multiple attempts to reach customer service. However, Kayla from Home Depot’s headquarters stepped in and did an outstanding job resolving the situation. She followed through, corrected the problem, and made sure we received our mattresses as originally expected. I appreciate the effort she made to take ownership and get this handled. That said, Home Depot’s customer service communication could definitely improve, as it took several calls and a lot of time to get the issue addressed. In the end, the matter was resolved and I’m thankful for Kayla’s help in making it right.
