The Sherwin-Williams Company

I love Sherin Williams they've always been a trusted brand for me. But... I've got to say they and (the paint industry) in general has made it very difficult to get exactly what you want. Went in to a local Chicago store several times knowing exactly what I want in paint color and several times they've said well... we can't do it with that paint, or in that finish or etc. but we can do it in a different label that's more expensive. And... the color might be different. Or can you take this color down a notch and they've said no we can't do that when I know for certain in hindsight that it can be done. Frustrating to say the least. I give them a 5 as a company but this specific situation I give them a 2. The clerks are always great too. Friendly. Helpful. I spent 24 hours going over paint from past and what would look good in my home and I decided I was going right in the get the color I wanted and it was truly disappointing knowing I couldn't get it. ( Especially after how much attention to detail my wife, our painter and myself put into our home project ).

The worse 2 gallon primer sold at any Lowes branch Sherwin Williams .. I used the primer before from home depot for 17 years .. I prime and paint one time after the primer. Now after the primer I have to use 3 time regular paint.. check your primer.. not smoth . Look like the manufacturer add alot of white cement or whatever they add. Really worse primer I use so far.. I said to all my freinds we work same job.. Don't use Sherwin Williams primer at all.. sorry for that. 154 Front Street, Berea, Ohio Business name Bazah Home Arts.

Not sure about any other Sherwin Williams store but the one in Noth Olmsted , Ohio does awesome customer service. I'm sure this is a direct result of the manager. Every person I've had the pleasure to meet was very helpful in making sure I had the right product and was very helpful full in explaining the difference of the product. Oliver is one name I remember but I forgot the other gentleman who helped carry 4 gallons of paint to my truck. Thank you guys for all of your excellent service.

Reached out to the corporate office after a local store told us they would have problems trying to obtain the quantity of stain we needed. This sounded unusual because the quantity we need is available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. The corporate office confirmed they will not assist the local store in obtaining the quantity of stain we need. I’m still in shock Sherwin-Williams would not assist their own store in making a large sale and instead encourage us to purchase the product from Lowe’s or Home Depot. Why even have local stores if you’re not going to support getting product to them? Horrible business practice. I will be taking our business elsewhere.
