I just want to say I've always used Behr paint because I love them so much. But the last paint that I got which is the marquee one coat with advanced stain blocking, is so smelly. There's this horrible ammonia smell that lasts forever. And if you have asthma expect to be in an asthma event for as long as you're painting and then some. Sorry behr for the bad review. But I've been miserable painting this condo.

Customer service is better than anticipated. I called about their 10 year warranty. About 5 years ago my wife painted our deck. It started to look bad. I was heading to get a gallon of waterproofing stain and sealer. For whatever reason my wife had kept the empty gallon in our garage. I started reading and it said there was a 10 year warranty. Long story short I called customer service and after they received pictures of the deck, pictures of the paint can , they said we qualified under the warranty for a free can to be sent to us in 3 to. 7 days. So I received not only the new sealer but a product you use to clean the deck before painting it. I followed the instructions and I have a beautiful looking 30 year old deck.Behr paint company came through. They backed their warranty. Attached are before and after pictures.

So much time and money lost! I am redoing my living room floor and I wanted a marble look. I spoke with a rep from Behr at Home Depot and we discussed different options and ways to accomplish what I wanted. He said the plan I had in mind sounded solid and that the paint I had chosen would work. I did all the prep that we discussed and I was thorough as heck. I even have proof of me using the diamond grinder on the entire floor, I followed with the concrete prep/acid whatever it is and then neutralized the acid wash with vinegar as he recommended. After I had a dry floor I applied Interior/Exterior Concrete & Garage 1-part Epoxy Coating in Icy White to my floor. Here’s where the real money was wasted, and it was not on this ridiculously disappointing product. I poured my Resin/Epoxy 2 part product that had multiple metallic pigments and it looked great. It was very smooth and I was happy with the results. Well here I am less than 3 days later and the Behr epoxy is lifting in sheets where the resin was. The lady who sold me the resin tried to warn me that Behr’s product was notorious for peeling, but I thought with detailed prep work I would be okay. I am out $500 and still have to redo the floor and prep all over again so close to $1200 by the time this is finished. I have never in my life been so disappointed in a product or angry about the quality. It will set me back at least 2 weeks on this project. Never ever buy this to do your concrete. I wish I had options to recuperate this loss.

Behr Premium Advanced DeckOver totally a waste of money, personal time, painful labor. I used Behr’s recommended deck cleaner and allowed three weeks of hot August summer heat to throughly dry. So embarrassed to invite guests over for annual and family gatherings. So ashamed of this product. So disgusted and now going to hire a contractor to strip this garbage off my deck boards and recover it with a real deck finish and sealer. This is a photo of the DeckOver crap after about three years and with a second coating.

Outstanding customer service from the Behr representative, Chris Lilly in Home Depot. He was knowledgeable, professional and took the time to show me everything. Exceptional customer service all the way. Highly recommend!
