Company came out to cut back for power lines. Left a bunch of mess in my back yard i have to pick up now, along with water bottles. I already had my whole yard cleaned up for spring. Watch them use my fence as a step to climb over a bigger fence. Left their tools all over my back yard while they took a 2 hour lunch break. Cut branches on the pines to climb up and removed over 50 percent of the green on them. They were barely recovering from the last cutting.

On Monday April 21, 2025 I returned to my home to find 3 large Asplundh trucks blocking entrance to my home. I waited patiently for them to move. I spoke with one of the workers explaining that they disturbed the landscaping and left sawdust and wood chips all over my driveway. I also asked about a pile of debris that was left on the side of the street by Asplundh years ago and never removed. I have talked to crews constantly about the matter with no result. Back to Monday. The worker promised to move the landscaping boulder back to it's original place, fix the tire tracks on the grass and clean up all the sawdust and wood chips on the driveway. I heard the leaf blower but when I came back from inside the house they were leaving without putting the the boulder back, repairing the tire tracks and cleaning up. I have made 6 calls to Asplundh regarding this matter and not one person has offered to correct the situation. I have been promised a call back. No calls back. I have called corporate and asked to speak with Matthew Asplundh and was transferred to someone else's vmail. No call back! I find this behavior, disturbing, hostile and unprofessional. I'm still waiting on the promised call back. This has been going on for years. Garry Gardner

West Penn power company hired them to prune and trim some trees near the electric lines on my property, located on Tarrtown Rd. Adrian PA. A few of the workers were screaming obscenities. They spent most of their time talking and sitting in their trucks. I would guess out of a 8-hour shift they only put in several hours of work to prune a few small to medium sized trees. No wonder electric bills are so high, asplundh hiring lazy workers like them. Google refused to make my review visible. I followed the guidelines and told the truth, nothing inappropriate.

Update: Aug 2, '24 - FINALLY!!!! The wood is gone. Thank you. They took the extra step of taking the wood away. This would have been another expense. I was afraid of getting a fine. Thank you again ---------------- Update: May 31. 2024: Contacting them for over 1 year to return to cut the wood circles left into "manageable pieces." They do not return my call even when they say they would. Wait until after winter. Wait, there is a changing in mgmt. I need the pieces cut as contracted. Calls made to Corporate, Regional, and Local offices. They were paid by BGE. I couldn't even give it away on Nextdoor! -------- BGE contacted them to take down a dangerous tree. It was a monster. But it came down slice by slice. It took all day. BGE didn't contract for debris removal ... that's on me. They took their time, so the tree was no longer in dangering my home.i was afraid each time it rained, it landed a little more. They took it down to the trunk of the tree. They estimated the cost of the removal of the remaining trunk about $200.

Only 1 star to leave a review. They showed up at 9am sat around till 11:30am, went to the backyard 1 guy cut a tree down, the other 2 did nothing, left a huge mess, smashed my bushes, and bent the cyclone fence, I'm disabled, then they left at 12:08pm lunchtime, expected them back as they didn't come to the door to say they were leaving. Waited for them to come back and they never did. Leaving me with this huge mess I can't afford to have cleaned up, nor get the fence restored. What a total nightmare. This company should be ashamed to do this to folks. They were supposed to be here the end of March to the 1st week of April, but showed up today June 28th with no 3dy notice that I was told by Avista Power they would contact me , they didn't do that either. Now I don't know what to do. I am disabled and cannot move this mess, and can't afford to hire anyone. This is horrific to say the least. Shame on you.
