My family will never stay at another Hilton hotel ever again. We have been loyal customers for years. Horrible company. My family and I stayed at a home2suits for a month in Knoxville TN while we were trying to transition to a house. After we left we owed a balance but we paid it up within a week and a half of leaving. We have emails and receipts showing we paid it. Even the hotel told Hilton we paid it. They have still yet to give us our points towards a free night. My husband has called them multiple times to get our points. We have proved we paid it. It’s been over a month. Hilton forward our situation to corporate and now they want to make us wait another month to decide where they want to give us our points towards a free night. They don’t give a crap about their customers. We will spend our money with Marriott hotels before we ever step back into a Hilton.

Stayed at the Hilton owned Hampton Inn convention center location in Baltimore. Hotel and staff were fantastic. Valet parking was atrocious. Was double billed and called Hilton customer service and the “supervisor” I spoke with was not sympathetic, was more concerned with getting to her next call than witj any issue I was having and when I asked to speak with her supervisor said she had to send an email and this person would contact me within 10 days. Hilton - you have great hotels, the valet parking services you contract out could certainly be improved (but in this day and age, I get it), but there is no excuse for such poor 1-800-Hilton customer service. You have lost both a loyal customer of many years as well as my word-of-mouth recommendations through poor customer service - despite the fact that I enjoy your properties and the staff who works there.

Hilton operations are quite poor. The customer service agents I've encountered are extremely incompetent in explaining many of Hiltons policies and procedures. They place calls on hold without warning, they release calls without warning. There's zero phone etiquette. As for the hotel experience, 1 out of 7 was a good and positive experience. The other 6 were not. Especially the hampton inns, they are terrible in hotel operations. The location in Lynnwood WA, is the worst. Because of this I've closed Hilton Honors account and will not ever attempt to book a Hilton property. As good as the Palmer House was in Chicago, there are comparable properties that give more bang for buck. So, it's an easy pass to just ignore Hilton completely. Based on my experience booking expensive Hilton properties, is not to. The service is disappointing and concerns are addressed disrespectfully by both the Hotel and Hilton Global customer service team. I recommend booking a hotel within a location one feels comfortable in for the lowest rate one can find. This lowers expectations and disappointment. At the end of the day, all travelers really need is a clean, safe place to stay. Hilton does a poor job of this for a premium rate. Many other chains will be the same but far less expensive rates. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the lowest rate will be the smartest decision. I will never book a Hilton property. It's a company unworthy of honest, hardworking people's money. I rebuke the devil in the name of Jesus.

I have filed a complaint after waiting 3 hours in a hotel lobby waiting for a room. They said their computer systems were down and couldn’t check anyone in. The hotel management had about 30 guests waiting for a room. After hours they finally started to check in guests. They never told us their members about the complimentary reception, they didn’t offer guests anything to drink, they hid in an office behind the front desk. I filed a complaint on August 2 about the experience and was told I’d be contacted within 3 days. Today, August 15 I called guest services again and was told it was my fault that I hadn’t contacted Hilton back about the experience even though I was told Hilton would contact me! When you ask for a supervisor due to the blame on the guest Remero states he is the highest that a guest can talk too and that their is no one higher to contact or talk to. It’s sad when you contact a brand like Hilton and they don’t care about their guests and give poor customer service. I had to put my husband on the phone because the man wouldn’t even let me speak. Maybe someone will review this review and contact me from Hilton.

Had a long-ish stay in Jakarta, at the Double Tree, presented my Honours card at the front desk, never got the points. (Shocker) Called the hotline and either though I had my reservation number, name and dates - I couldnt get the points as it was someone else's name was on the email attached to the file. Hey Hilton - many business travellers have bookers who arrange our travel for us - ok? - my reservation number, name and dates should be enough..
