Landmark Pro Max Def Espresso is not a rich dark brown/ black color as marketed and my claim was denied even though my shingles appear to have no brown in them at all as compared to sample shingle, I needed to match the garage doors or I would’ve chose black- do your homework prior to purchase don’t be deceived by clever marketing as I seem to have been.

Hands down the best company for building products. I would highly recommend Certainteed siding and roofing. Great products and warranties. They proudly stand behind everything they produce.

My experience with Certainteed, and this office specifically has been horrible. I live in Vineland New Jersey and hired a local contractor Summit Exteriors llc to install a new roof for me. The contractor was certified by Certainteed to be a master professional installer. Well let me tell you, hole in brand new ac unit, debris inside my home, no contract , no permits installers throwing nailers off roof onto concrete driveway and now Certainteed telling me I am sol because they have a disclaimer that exempts them from any responsibility. So why bother purchasing their shingle makes no sense. Also because the roof was so poorly installed any material warranty has basically been voided. So the shingles that haven't sealed in over 4 months are on me also, and any workmanship warranty is worthless because I would never allow that contractor back on my roof. So in closing my suggestion would be do not purchase a certainteed shingle . And do not trust their certification process, it's a lie.
