AVOID, But if you are going to have an app on Google and Apple you have to. Otherwise AVOID!!!! I originally registered through Rocket Lawyer and their registered agent was no longer, so I asked the SC of State if the founder and CEO could be and they said yes so I have. However that information has not been updated internally and even when I provide the the requested documents like articles of incorporation, irs etc they won't accept. Once you are registered that is the permanent info. What if the company that provides the registered agent goes out of business?

8 business days to verify my status as the sole proprietor then 12 business days to update my company address. This company is slower than the federal government and has no business taking every piece of my personal and business information. I fought to talk to customer service which was in the Philippines and they denied my request to speak to a supervisor. It is nearly impossible to navigate the website and every other page is an advertisement. How this company was given the governing authority over business credit should be investigated to the fullest extent.

Do not do business with this company. They take your money and do not deliver and do not help. If you have a 3rd party that is requiring a DUNS Number, then refuse them, explain the issues, and force to be verified another way. The worst Customer Service ever encountered. I called in 3 times, each time getting a different representative. Each and Every call was met with a foreign speaking individual. Each one was a struggle to speak and understand English. Each time I requested someone else to help me, and each time I was refused. I requested to speak with a supervisor each and every time to hopefully get someone who could understand the issue. I was flat out refused twice, even requesting over and over again, the representatives kept saying "I can help you" but yet did not understand the issue at hand, so how exactly can they help, when language and issue is not understood. the 3rd representative kept putting me on hold and coming back telling me no supervisor available.

The worst business I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. It could not be more clear that they have totally gutted the company for profit. Not reputable. Not honorable. All they do is innacurately report and be as unreachable as possible. This isn't Netflix support, you shouldn't be able to use chatbots and virtual assistants for something that greatly impacts business owners' lives. A shining example of the worst of the worst of the worst.

Google and Apple need to figure out another way. These guys have literally no support. Nothing gets done in this office. Management need to get their departments in order. Unfortunately these guys have a monopoly on these partners and there is no alternative.
