I never had problems with Iron Mountain as a corporate customer. But as a small business owner they have been abusive of my time, money and trust. Invoices for simple storage jumping 50% from the contract rate without notice or explanation, followed by promised credits that are never applied. Iron Mountain's levels of incompetence by some departments, and programmatic deception by others, would make Xfinity and Verizon blush.

After 4 years as a customer, I've determined customer service is truly incompetent. This is not a review based on a single experience; I've had to contact them regarding different basic issues over the 4 years we have used them. No one has been rude, but the experience each time is the strangest combination of incoherence, illiteracy and ineffectiveness. 5 stars for the consistently mind blowing incompetence.

Iron Mountain has to be the worst company to deal with. We have been trying to purge records for over 8 months and have yet to have communication from the same person twice. They are still charging us storage fees even though we have requested record purging 8 months ago. Their customer service department can't figure out how to follow up with operations and they won't even let you talk to a manager. If you have records in storage at IRON MOUNTAIN I would recommend you move them elsewhere. BUT good luck with that as they don't respond to customer requests to close accounts. STAY AWAY

One of their drivers is nuts. Doesn't know what zipper merge is, would push you off the road and give you a finger on top of that
