TERRIBLE experience with Pep Boys - mechanics steal personal belongings from car and leave wheel covered in axle grease. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE Dropped off car Saturday morning for repairs that were supposed to be finished that evening or Sunday morning. Car was finally ready late Monday afternoon. When I picked up the car I found my sunglasses missing and a slop of axle grease covering the front wheel (see photo). Recommend avoiding this place.

I had a 10am appointment for a routine state inspection and the person informed it would take approximately 60-90 minutes. I didn’t end up leaving until 2:52pm. During the nearly 5 hour wait, no one once approached me to communicate some sort of issue or holdup they were experiencing. Likely, this is routine for them and just business as usual. The staff were friendly and polite when I approached them, but did nothing to acknowledge the inordinate wait times. I booked with them because I needed the appointment soon and it had the quickest availability, but I would’ve probably saved more time driving an hour away to have my inspection done. I will not be returning to this location for any type of needs. I regret not reading the reviews here ahead of time, so I hope others are wiser than I was. At the very least, do not take them at their word for wait times and do not wait at the site itself if that can be helped. Had I known I’d be there all day and not the hour and a half I expected, I would’ve Ubered home.

Great customer service and very friendly people especially Angelo. They were able to help me get my moms car fixed the same day when no one else around had the time or staff to do it. She lives far so their availability and compassion went a long way for us. If your ever in a bad way and need your car fixed quick or just regular maintenance ask for Angelo, he was extremely helpful and all around came across as a great dude who provided us service seriously and with respect.

Not good I went in for a leak in my tire. Ended paying for new ones. They took out the TPMS sensor from one of the tires said it was dangling. I can confirm that it did work on my dashboard before I took it in and have pictures proving. I was recommended to take it to another Pep boys to resolve the issue because the TPMS scanner is broken. So I’m going over to another tomorrow to resolve the issue. But I currently stand with my warning light stuck on because my car doesn’t think I have a tire. I’ll keep this updated to talk about how this ends.

Angelo single-handedly runs this place and truly deserves a raise. Yesterday was my first experience with Pep Boys, and the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service timeline ended up being much longer than originally quoted. What was expected to take about 1 hour and 45 minutes ultimately turned into 5.5 hours. While delays happen and I completely understand that, having a more realistic estimate upfront would have helped tremendously for planning purposes. That said, Angelo stayed in communication throughout the day, provided consistent updates, and was transparent regarding both the issues with my car and the related costs. Overall, I felt pricing was fair and comparable, and his calm, professional demeanor was genuinely appreciated. Because of Angelo — along with the location’s convenience and proximity — I’ll very likely be back.
