He quickly began developing his love of cooking and worked at some of the well known venues of the Cambridge eating out scene of the 1960s: The Turks Head, The Old Dot and Berni s Inns to name a few. In the early 1970s Giulio went to work at The Copper Kettle in King s Parade, a venue he later owned himself, and also set up the City Stop Restaurant, a popular party venue until it closed in 2007. Dad s dream had always been to open an Italian Restaurant with a wood burning pizza oven.
