HATS off to FREDDIE working today 7th May. I have eaten out in many restaurants and often, know they are busy I would ask for me and my Partner to have HOT plates.. when ordering the Fish and Chips meal deal with a pint of Birra Porretti, with large slug of Lime, Freddie, did exactly what I asked. The drink was amazing, and I like the lime into it,as I have long COVID and can't taste very much.. when the meal arrived, served by a beautiful Asian girl (Luna) who was smiley and very pleasant, the food was cooked to perfection (well done chef) and the plate was hot, so I didn't need to scoff it down and rush.... I like this Spoons as they do just what you ask...I stopped Freddie as he was ending his shift...and complimented him..... EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE... WELL DONE FREDDIE, you are a credit to this Spoons, and as I said, I've eaten in very expensive resi, and they serve "hot food on cold plates" here you get an amazing value meal, and it's done exactly how you ask... WELL DONE to all the team... Chef, server, and FREDDIE, 5***** service....thanks Craig

Great food now.its been months since we have been there. because badly cooked on cold plates. That has changed its all better now also the toilets have revamped from the depressing Bastile to light and airy. Prices are good and not so many chairs wobble now. Two New coffee machines in one hall not the other ?. Cost I guess. .newer staff so all good there. Aha did see white cobwebs or something from ceiling in alcove next to unlit fireplace. Overall pretty good. once weird white cobwebbs are removed

Went to Alloa Wetherspoons for family lunch, ordered through their app. Got drinks delivered to table then refused to serve my grandson who’s 22 as he had no ID. Asked for refund of his drink and told can’t refund drinks ordered on app. Is this legal? Cancelled my meal order and got full refund. As we wee leaving young server followed us out and yelled that we were barred. Head office dont care about complaints got standard corporate reply.

I use whetherspoons in Bedford often. Great beer prices, decent food and a pretty beer garden. It was filthy. having worked for many years in hospitality, service/ kitchen supervisor/carvery. The main aim of the game is a clean environment, prompt service and a welcome. Clean tables equals bums on seats. More turnover. Today I arrived around 4 o'clock. This was the state of Whetherspoons in Bedford. Shame

Ordered a drink to the wrong pub through the website, staff told us to tell the other pub who knew the order instantly but couldn’t do anything to help. Last time I use the app, useless!
