What does Claire's Dog Care do?

Claire's Dog Care is a pet service serving Kingsworthy, Hampshire and nearby. In their own words: “I knew from a young age that I had to be surrounded by animals so as soon as I was old enough, I volunteered at dog kennels. Then as an adult, I moved on to caring for animals in pet shops and rescue centres. I then decided a career as a zoo keeper was for me, working with a wide range of animals from Meerkats to Rhinos and Tigers, gaining a deep understanding for animal welfare, animal behaviour and training all over the space of 10 years. After achieving everything I’d hoped for in this career, I chose to embark on a new venture. One that allows me to work with likeminded people and that also enables me and my team to work closely with the animals in our care. Giving us the opportunity to build bonds with the dogs that visit us and enjoy that new relationship while taking care of their grooming needs. Having worked with a range of nervous, anxious and reactive dogs, my team and I have a deep understand of how important and beneficial a calm and relaxed environment is to meet a dog’s emotional needs. This is why we have chosen to only have one dog per groomer at any one time, ensuring that the individual dog has the full care and attention of the groomer working with it. We have also chosen to only have one groomer working every Sunday so that very reactive dogs can be free to come in and enjoy a peaceful pamper, free from what causes that individual the most stress.” Their work covers Our doggy services., Wash/dry and brush out. From £25*, Full Groom From £40*, Hand Strip From £50*, De-shed From £40, Puppy’s first groom From £30, Additional Services and Wash/dry and brush out. From £25.
