Whitbread PLC (Premier Inn)

Enjoyed our stay. Azra at reception was lovely, friendly and on the ball and made everything feel easy. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, which is all we wanted. Price felt fair for what you get, and the location worked well for us, handy having Tesco just a few minutes walk away.

Standard Premier Inn in most respects. It was a hot day when we travelled and hadn't realised there was no air-con in the building (first World problems I know) and the rooms were HOT. Fan was provided but it didn't help much. Nice freshly cooked breakfast provided in the beefeater next door. Also, the bar here closed at 9.00pm on a Saturday evening because they didn't have enough customers to keep it open.

Renata on Reception was so helpful! I had to move rooms and she came with me to check the new room out. She offered to help me move but I needed to eat first. When I went back to collect the new key, she had her coat on ready to go home. She took her coat off and came to help me 🥹 She was super happy and helpful, thank you Renata 😊

From the moment we entered the foyer Renata (on reception) was an absolute Gem. Smiling, jovial and extremely pleasant we couldn't have wished for a friendlier welcome. The ONLY drawback is the lack of public transport so if you do not have a car you have to use taxis (or Shanks pony). The taxi prices are however very reasonable so shouldn't break the bank. The food was really good being both full of flavour and hot. Ample parking although access to upper floors is only possible by able bodied people. Nevertheless an excellent venue.

Again amazing service, Francis on reception i think that is what her name was (really sorry if I got it wrong) nothing was to big for her to help us with Absolutely 5 stars. My one complaint is that there was another lady with bloneish hair. She was a bit rude to another member of staff. Plus not very quite when saying things about other staff in the back of reception. Breakfast was ok but not something I would recommend on this occasion.
