This hotel is so dirty and the room definitely hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The bathroom was full of dead flies all over the sink, on top of the mirror, in the bath and on the floor. There was some sort of insect crushed into the door frame too. The sink plug was stuck in so you couldn’t drain any water. The worst part was I woke up in the morning and a wasp flew into my bed and stung me. The room was absolutely ridden with all sorts of insects.

Stayed one night with bicycle. One of the cleanest and freshest Travelodge’s I’ve been to (and there have been to some horrors) and this one I would come back to. I wonder if it is because their Head Office is just next door.

Can't fault it. Cheap, clean and surprisingly quiet location for a Sunday night stop over before work on the Monday. Room was tired but spotless, young guy on the desk was swift and helpful and I slept like a log. With change out of £30 why wouldn't you?

I was booked at this hotel as a contractor. It is to date the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It’s in the middle of no where, no data reception, internet has to be purchased on a daily basis. Nothing decent in the vicinity properly to eat. During one of the hottest week of the year, it has no air conditioning. I believe for nearly £300 for 4 days, it’s awful. It doesn’t even deserve 1 star.

I stayed here so I could visit the old market town centre and Thame Museum then take a look at St Mary's church. ( Interesting fact - Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees lived in Thame not far from the church) The Travelodge is in a "rest area" - the Esso service station that is open 24h. The service station area has a drive thru Burger 🍔 king,a Subway 🥖,a drive thru 🌟 Starbucks & a Gregg's + Small Asda "on the move" express mini mart. So If you are staying at the Travelodge you have everything you want for the stay from coffee ☕ to an evening meal 🍔 without going into town. The hotel is a single storey that reminds me of the early days of Travelodge hotels 🏨 There is free parking for guests on a first come first served basis, the guy on the desk was really helpful and I was checked in and in my room in no time. The hotel room was clean tidy and spacious if a little spas when I stayed,it only had 1 chair in my room but that was fine for me but if two of you was staying one would have sit on the bed 😅 The travelodge has a new design look to all the rooms now. This hasn't been accomplished when I stayed but a guy on reception said it was due to be done soon. After checking in I headed to the town centre for a look around the above mentions locations l wanted to see, and after the walk I stopped at the "Six Bells" A 16th-Century pub to rest and drink some nice fullers Beers 🍺 🍻 😁 The room had everything you would expect from a travelodge, tea - coffee - TV - nice soft white towels & a confit bed with nice pillows. Spaces beside the bed so you can charge your phone and nice lighting in the room. Overall I thought it was a nice place to stay to explore Thame, Oxford and maybe even Bicester shopping village. I even managed to get a room for £24.99 😊 = bargain! I stayed on a Sunday for one night and after checking out on monday I headed to Aylesbury town to look around the old market centre before heading back to London. I hope my review helps anyone thinking of staying here to explore the local area and I've giving you some ideas to what to do and look at, if you've liked my review leave me a thumbs 👍🏻 & keep on exploring Google maps you never know what you may find! Thanks "H" 😎
