Had a really great customer service experience today at Hilton Hotel Watford. I requested slippers from the service desk and they arranged them very quickly. The staff were friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful. A special mention to Hiranya Abrew, who brought the slippers to our room. When I realised I had forgotten my dental kit, I asked him if one was available and he immediately arranged two for us without any hesitation. I’m very happy with the service received today from both the team and Hiranya. Thank you for the excellent hospitality.

Great service at check-in every time, with consistently friendly and welcoming staff. The same can be said for the restaurant/bar team downstairs — quick to resolve issues and service is always fast and efficient. It’s a lovely bar area to relax in, especially on warmer days as it’s nicely air conditioned. The gym is clean, well maintained, and has a nice range of equipment while being tucked out of the way from the busier hotel areas. Access is easy enough once you know where you’re going, although the instructions aren’t always provided at check-in, so it’s worth asking reception if needed. The rooms are the only part that let the experience down slightly. There’s no air conditioning or thermostat control, and there were a few small maintenance issues such as random shampoo/body wash bottles not fixed to the wall like the others, plus peepholes without covers. Minor things individually, but they do add up when you notice them throughout the stay. There’s plenty of parking available, although £10 per night feels a little steep. Overall though, it’s a great offering from the Hilton chain with no major complaints, and I’d happily stay again.

Updating my previous review: After initially having a disappointing experience regarding a parking charge, my partner was contacted by Divina, the Front Desk Manager, who handled the situation exceptionally well. She took the time to listen to what had happened, discussed the options available to resolve the issue, kept him updated throughout by email, and ultimately arranged for the £60 parking charge to be reimbursed. This was exactly the level of customer service we had hoped for from the start. Divina was professional, proactive and genuinely cared about finding a fair resolution. She completely turned our experience around and deserves recognition for the way she handled the situation. Thank you, Divina.

We had the most amazing service from Fernanda at the front desk when I arrived early with my son for our stay, she helped us check in and was so accommodating and helpful it really made our day. Also the team got candles and sang happy birthday to my son at dinner, they really made every effort to make him feel special. Great location for the Harry Potter studio tour only 10 mins can ride away.

Really was gutted by this place as I booked it as part of a package to visit Harry Potter world for my girlfriends birthday. I will just say the staff were lovely but the room/bed wasn't very comfortable at all and when we came down for breakfast in the morning half of it was cold, especially the bacon and sausages. I didn't wish to make a scene as it was a special occasion but I was very disappointed as the tickets for HP where £60 each and it cost us £245 to stay here for the night. We checked in on the 25th of April and checked out on the 26th.
