Blackbird Caterers

What does Blackbird Caterers do?

Blackbird Caterers is an event & wedding service serving Canterbury, Kent and nearby and has been operating since 1987. In their own words: “Please contact Blackbird Caterers for all your catering and party planning needs and requirements in the Kent area. We are more than happy to cater for events in the Kent towns including Canterbury, Ashford, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Dover, Folkstone and welcome you to get in touch with your needs and requirements. We can cater further afield, including South East London, by negotiation. By 1997 it was becoming evident that we could no longer continue to operate from The Counting House as Blackbird Caterers outside functions were growing rapidly; the kitchen facilities were simply too small. A decision was made to sell the remainder of the lease and move to larger premises, The Parlour , which we still occupy today. Blackbird Caterers has a highly skilled and faithful group of staff, many of whom have been with the company since its inception. In the summer of 1999 we were typically handling three or four catering functions every Saturday and usually two on Sundays as well as many others during the week. Our menus have been extended to offer more adventurous world cuisine including Italian, Indian and Mexican.” Their work covers Menus Buffets, Fun Fayre, Hot Foods, Christmas, Roasts Carverys, Canapés Starters, Medieval and Hog Roast BBQs.
