1/5 Stars - Flawed patio door design and zero technical supportI am highly disappointed with both AluK’s product design and their non-existent technical support.I had an AluK aluminium patio door installed 8 months ago and have faced ongoing leak issues ever since. Both my installer and the frame manufacturer blame the AluK system itself for these faults.To get clarity, I contacted AluK’s technical department on 21 May via email and their online form. I asked a simple question to confirm if the external sealing is the primary weatherproofing and the internal sealing is purely for draughts and cosmetics. I followed up on 22 May to confirm receipt, and it is now 27 May with absolutely no reply.The product has major design flaws. The drain hole inserts feature a ball valve that sticks with the slightest amount of everyday atmospheric dust. Furthermore, the internal plastic bottom track holds water instead of letting it exit freely through the drainage holes.AluK's complete failure to answer a basic weatherproofing query leaves both customers and installers stranded with a flawed, leaking product. Avoid. 28/05/26 In response to your reply, 1, how is it you can respond to this in less than 24hrs but take over a week to reply to a simple question. 2 I have been dealing with the fabricator and the installer trying to get some resolve for the last 8 months, all I wanted was an answer to a simple weather proofing question, if your technical team can't do that what are they actually qualified to do, I suspect pass the buck like everyone else. Your reactions and responses are shameful I would never recommend such a couldn't care less company. I

I had bi folds and doors from aluk. This door you can see daylight through the top and it makes an awful noise every time it is opened. I have paid twice for it to be refitted but no improvement.

My name is Hasan Ali in Baghdad, Iraq. I recently contracted with Aluk representative in Iraq and I had / still have a terrible experience. They're the worst company to work with and they missed their deadline by a lot. Terrible representative to your product and I highly recommend having another representation to your products. They lie, missed deadline, their finishes isn't good, and they keep lying to push their deadline and multiple times blamed it on us then when we had enough, they backed up.

if you want a draughty, leaky door, then these are your guys... Update: Further to the response below, the window situation has now been resolved. AlUK were very good in finding the fault, which turned out to be an issue with one of their manufacturers. The drainage holes were not the right size (too small) and did not have the necessary 1-way valve. They sent representatives to site with manufacturer to address... with all the winds from the storms over the past week or so, we have not had so much as a gentle draught or a rattling door... thanks very much
