I agree to all that provided very bad rating. Although they have all your bank details you have to go through a paper dealing (1,9% of value) process selling your shares if you are not UK resident. Once they sold your share you might receive a bank check in Pound. Conversion into your currency includes also charges. Complete unacceptable ancient banking system.

This company deals shares like in the 90's but charging 2025 commission rates. The process is really slow and you cannot buy or sell at market price. You have to sign and returning documents by post. Sold some shares I bought via a company scheme for employees, all done online with the employer, they charged me £74 for a share certificate that I've never received from them, plus their commission and as others mentioned here, the price was well below what it was when I sent the order to sell. It's surprising that they are still in the business with such an outdated system.

Awfully frustrating to deal with particularly given their outdated processes. Bacs payments have to be receipted and evidenced using screenshots of the transaction with date, bank details of where funds have gone from and to and then PRINTED AND POSTED as proof of payment - you can't email the info. Since when has paying by cheque been quicker and easier!! And to add to the frustration, they won't even accept hand delivered post even though I pass their Lancing offices most days. Seriously considering whether to remain a customer 😡

Avoid using this company if at all possible. Lots of well justified bad reviews on Google highlighting their terrible website and processes, as well as their broker- rather than customer-centric focus. I just spoent an hour trying to sell some shares through them as I couldn't get a quote and was instead instructed to use their dealers. The price was well below the current market price and the commission was 1.5% - impressively bad!

Trying to change my name on shares, sent in original marriage certificate as it says on their website to do. Then get a letter saying as it’s a copy it needs authentication, please do NOT send this company any important documents as you will not see them again. Three calls to call centre and they insist I sent a copy, trying to explain I didn’t is just not registering with them. It’s like pulling teeth. I have had to resort to writing to them to get my original certificate returned but not holding out much hope. Find another broker people.
