Simon Wong..I saw your review! That's so horrible that ciniplex customer service/guest service did not honor that!! Take that to head ffice and also..that is false advertisement if thet did not take down the offer but then again legally maybe because of the "while supplies last" they aren't responsible..Ciniplex is very expensive now a days! They need better good deals to bring in the public!! Literally half price movies and popcorn/pop/candy items on a certain day each week! It costs my guy and I $60 for vip tickets then we get there, spend gas and we order a couple drinks, popcorn, maybe dinner..comes out to another 100 to 140 including tip! Sickening!! They need deals!! On everything certain days..we love vip..we go alot..please treat us fairly giving deals ciniplex..we spend tons once a month coming to your theatre! Omg and if we had kids.. i would have to definitely sneak in snacks! Lol But I love your don mills vip theatre so much!! Great staff and service there!!

Scam Alert! A few days ago, I saw Cineplex's promotion: "Treat Yourself to Movie Savings When You Spend $30 or More on Gift Cards." Based on this offer, I purchased a $30 gift card expecting to receive the advertised coupon book ("gift"). However, the coupon book never arrived. After contacting Guest Services, I was informed that they had run out of the promotional gifts. If the gifts were no longer available, why were the advertisements and promotional banners still being displayed on the website? At no point during checkout, or elsewhere on the website, was there any warning that the gifts were no longer in stock. We only learned this after contacting Guest Services directly. Had I known that the promotional gifts were unavailable, I would not have purchased the $30 gift card. The promotion was the reason in my purchasing decision. Continuing to advertise the offer without disclosing that supplies had been exhausted was misleading and gave customers the impression that the gifts were still available. The response from Guest Services was even more disappointing. Rather than addressing the issue, they pointed to the fine print stating, "while supplies last." My question is: how are customers supposed to know when supplies have run out? We have no access to Cineplex's internal inventory information. If the promotional gifts were no longer available, the promotion should have been removed or, at the very least, clearly and visibly marked as no longer available. This promotion feels deceptive because there appears to have been no reasonable effort to honor the advertised gift offer in the first place. Frankly, I do not particularly care about the coupon book itself. What frustrates me is the feeling that I was tricked to purchase the gift card based on a promotion that Cineplex knew it could no longer fulfill. That is what I find most concerning and disappointing.

Great movie, good seating, excellent 3D, incredible IMAX. But could not stop sniffing, way way too dusty, son with allergies had to step out a couple of times. I could feel the dust in the air. This of course made me worry. It would take me a bit to go back there.

When booking tickets online for a Cineplex movie, the process is a total pain. I believe I usually have to Phone in! I tried to change password last night, but to no avail… I had to go in in person to get the tickets and hope Spider-Man still had some seats. Very frustrating.
