I ordered late febuary and recieved my seeds early march. I recieved everything accept for 3 backlogged chive packets(min order 10 anyway so they dont rly matter).Everything is packaged professionally in heavy plastic resealable bags with lots of info on them.

A Disappointing Shift Away from Small-Scale Growers I’ve been a loyal Stokes Seeds customer for over 20 years, purchasing seeds annually for my small-scale family market garden. Unfortunately, this year I was shocked to find that Stokes has discontinued offering smaller seed quantities — a change that effectively shuts out small farmers like myself. Instead of supporting the diverse range of growers that built their business, Stokes now seems to be catering exclusively to large-scale operations. The minimum quantities are far beyond what a family farm or market gardener needs, making it impossible for me to continue buying from them. This is more than just an inconvenience — it’s a clear signal that Stokes no longer values the loyalty of smaller customers. I’ve always trusted them for quality and service, but this change forces me to look elsewhere for a supplier who actually supports farmers at all scales. Extremely disappointed.

Stokes is a fantastic seed company. We have been purchasing from them for years. Always been happy with their helpful customer service. I read on their website about the software upgrade that messed up their ordering and packaging systems. There is NO way Stokes should have a 3.5/5 Google Review rating (at the time I am writing this review). They are a great company to work with. I can understand being frustrated as a customer, but giving a 1 star review seems overly critical for a company managing a business challenge like this. I completely understand that they are only focusing on commercial growers this year given the complications they have with filling orders. I'll be happy to return as a customer once they have everything sorted out and back working. I'm sure this is stressful and challenging for all the folks working at the company. To everyone working at Stokes, thanks for all your hard work and your wonderful seed selection - keep up the great work!

EDIT: As of Feb 26th, I still have not received the rest of my order after 7 weeks - multiple requests to customer service for information have been ignored. I'm not sure how it's helpful to direct people to customer service when they don't bother to answer! If they are taking the time for damage control on Google then they have the time to answer inquiries to customer service. Also, they have now increased their min order further to $250! Will never deal with them again. Brutal customer service. I have ordered from Stokes many times and enjoyed the veggie varieties I've grown. However, this year they've changed ownership and implemented a whopping $125 minimum order which makes it difficult for smaller home gardeners such as myself to continue shopping with them. Also, I waited for weeks past the noted anticipated ship date for my order to ship and when it finally did, only some of the seeds shipped with the rest on back-order which they did not bother to tell me. No updated invoice at all - had to ask which seeds were missing so I could make other arrangements to get my seeds on time for the season. I asked when they anticipated the missing part of my order would ship and never got a response. The only positive part of the experience was employee Jennifer who was friendly and helpful when I called to place my order. Otherwise, pretty disappointed and won't be ordering from Stokes again. I'd rather pay a few bucks for shipping than have to buy 3 times what I need every year.

I have ordered my seeds from Stokes for over 20 years . I was forced to order elsewhere this year in order to get my seeds started on time. Now you are up and running I wanted to supplement what I wanted to plant, only to discover a minimum order of 125.00 .I would normally not have a problem reaching this total but you let your faithful customers down and now expect us to comply to your new rules. Totally disappointed with this lack of customer support.
