Vicwest Building Products

Amazing product in Bellara line - HORRIBLE customer service and lead time. I’m a GC and ordered Bellara siding thru a metal supplier in Knoxville. The first order was 3 weeks late beyond deadline. I loved the product and the look of the product so much that I purchased nearly $10,000 more of that product for a cabin renovation. Not only did they absolutely fail at their lead time, but they also unethically kept feeding lies to the supplier about when it would ship out and why it continued to not meet deadlines. My stance until proven wrong is that Vicwest is a terrible company with a great product. Do better. I would have very likely used that product on multiple houses a year, but now you could not pay me to spend my money on this product/company just based on how the management runs their business. I canceled my order and will never be ordering again.

Avoid VicWest at all costs. We have a roof installed 20 years ago with a 50 year warranty certificate. Before we installed we consulted the architect, VicWest and the contractor together and VicWest informed us it could be done. We have had issue and issue and never once have we been able to get an answer from VicWest. We are now considering legal action. Do not use this product, don’t even look at it as an option.

Replaced my own roof this year, I’ve never roofed before. Steve at Vicwest was hands-down stellar to work with, I ended up choosing the Cedar Creek steel shingle in the Silver Spring finish. It looks amazing, it was easy to install. The materials look to be high quality (I guess 50 years will tell...). Vicwest was able to work with me on pricing to get the finish I wanted, without a substantial increase. They made several onsite visits to assist me, with great advice that made my job much easier. They even drove to their supplier out of the way to pick up some supplies I needed, at no cost. Highly recommend working with Vicwest, great staff and a great product.

Worst customer service experience, doesn't even deserve 1 star! Spoke to several staff members and the third one hit the jackpot with his hostile attitude. Placed an order with Agway Metals instead who serviced 5 stars and beyond!
