They lure customers in with false promises. Once you sign up, you’re thrown to the wolves. The wait time on the phone is consistently super long (average of 30-35 min waiting time) They always say they’ll call you back, but they never do. I had to chase them for over two months. I would recommend that any business owner with limited free time look for another supplier, as they will find ways to overcharge you. They also add numerous hidden fees to your statements. Once i wanted to cancel my account, I spoke with their sales representative, who told me that canceling my account would cost $650, but I was charged an additional 500$. Now they’re apologizing that their own sales rep gave me incorrect information (I provided an email as proof). While admitting it was their mistake, they still insist it’s their policy. They refuse to take responsibility for the error they made. FOLLOW UP 13th of July 2026 - I am still trying to receive my refund from Nuvei. Now they are sending me to first data to resolve the situation AGAIN because they do not want to resolve the issues that they created. I cancelled my account with Nuvei in february and it is still not resolved. They will try their best to prolong it as much as possible to keep charging your card.

I've been working with Mike Fiori for a few years now. He's always available if I have questions. We needed to upgrade our unit recently as ours was 'end of life' and he sent a brand new one for free. The virtual terminal is very easy to use as well. Thanks Mike!

I had the pleasure of working with Chak in technical support to solve an issue for a merchant. Chak was very thorough and double checked everything to be sure all was done properly. It makes a huge difference when support is knowledgeable as well as patient and personable. Kudos to Chak!

Be aware of nuvei on dealing with account closure. They will keep charging your account after a number of requests and account closure confirmation. No one seems know how to professionally close my account and will charge you forever. Way too much hassle and pain to deal with after being their royal customer for more than 10 years!
